Performing live in bands from Melbourne to Byron Bay and writing music since the age of 14, Taylor Molnar has spent a fair share of time with the music experience.

After recently playing in Central Coast bands Bright Yellow and Dali’s Angels, Taylor, 21 of Gosford has made a decision to go solo and play his material directly to an audience without the aid of a band.

With dashes of blues, folk and soul-jazz in his new material, Taylor’s music contains a passionate feeling not present in a lot of the coast’s contemporary artists. Influences range tall and wide including Tim Buckley, Tom Waits, Bob Dylan, Jimi Hendrix, Donovan and many more.

Spending most of last year working with Producer Ron Francois (Ex Euro gliders, Tear Drop Explodes, Lena Lovich) and touring with various bands, Taylor started 2012 playing solo shows in small pub gigs and cafe residencies in Sydney and the Central Coast.
The rest of the year as planned will be spent writing, recording, playing shows and jamming heartily with fellow and musician types from all walks.
