Bateau Bay Hotel - Sunday August 16 2004

If you happened to be in the vicinity of the Bateau Bay Hotel on the afternoon of Sunday 16 August, you would be forgiven for thinking that you had stepped through a time portal. On stage, in the Garden ... Neil Anderson, accompanied by Brad and Andy ... the Busy Boys previous line up together again.
Neil's interpretation of some old standards has won himself quite a fan club. With favorites like JOKER (Steve Miller Band); TIME OF YOUR LIFE (Greenday); BROWN EYED GIRL (Van Morrison) it's a sing-a-long, tap-a-long kinda feeling afternoon's entertainment.
His unique rendition of AM I EVER GONNA SEE YOUR FACE AGAIN (The Angels), possibly tagged his signature song ... and MERCEDES BENZ (Janis Joplin & Full Tilt Boogie) top off an afternoon of almost "view askew" therapy. There were a few of us who were lucky to have captured this rare performance and will be looking forward to Neil's next return visit.
Andy and Brad were both in their usual fine form today and obviously found it no difficult task to slip straight back into "Busy" mode .
You can stumble across Andy at a few venues in the near future ...You just cannot mistake that familiar feel and sound of Andy's harps. He has shared many a stage with the best.
As for Brad ... well, he can still be seen around as well ... as soon as we have some dates and venues we will post them for you.
