THE REVIEW |
KRANKN'STEIN - JACKS BAR ERINA:
Whats On's David 'Krusty' Underwood went down to catch up with some old friends playing together under the banner of Krankn'stein
at Jacks Bar in Erina.
He was initially hit with the memories of wonderful days gone by when real bands were playing at most local venues every week end.
Bands such as The Button Mushie's, The Pulse, Flying without a Net, Spruce Goose, Damaged Goods and a few more were almost household names and most venues enjoyed a full house every gig.
There are a few, (possibly called theses days), BIG BANDS, doing the circuit and they are doing well. If this is the trend then KRANKN'STEIN will be one of the favourites. Rock music and it's fans haven't died - there is a great calling for it still and these guys along with a few other local bands are giving ardent fans just what they want.
If you love rock (not the geological ones) and long for the good ol' days catch a Krankn'stein Gig - you wont be disappointed.
