Two voices that blend perfectly and create an emotive listening experience. Jason Hicks and Bob Allan (JAYWALKER) are two Australian singer songwriters from the Central Coast of New South Wales who create music destined to be heard and enjoyed by thousands of people.
The two voices create a beautiful sound themselves and the songs stand alone whether they are performed as a duo or with their band. The last two years have seen the guys perform to many appreciative and supportive crowds, including a tour with Xavier Rudd, supports with Kate Miller Heidke, Diesel, Killing Heidi and Sarah McCleod as well as a sold out show at The Vanguard releasing their well received debut single "You Live You Learn".
JAYWALKER were nominated as finalists in the 2008 Newcastle Music Awards and runners up in the 2007 Peoples Choice category of the Australia wide Music Oz Awards. A tribute to the support of their dedicated fan base.
The past performance experience of these two guys is vast, which includes tours with Human Nature and supports with Pete Murray, Iota, Cruel Sea, Diesel and The Superjesus Having recently finished recording with acclaimed producer Stuart Stuart (The Veronicas, Small mercies), JAYWALKER are recording music that has the potential to grace the play list of any radio station and cement themselves in Australian and overseas markets.
