In Nov 2017 Ross McGregor released his latest single on CRS CD for country radio -Home On Christmas Day, featuring harmony vocal by Kelly Hope, which got into the country tracks national top 40 chart.

The song is featured on new album release, Home On Christmas Day, which also includes the brilliant new version of Bob Dylans classic, Just Like A Woman, featuring James Gillard on Harmony vocal ,also produced by Simon Johnson

Ross is a hard working professional talented country blues rock singer with over 20 years experience and is based on the Central Coast of NSW.

Performing regularly as both solo artist and lead vocalist of popular Summerland Kings band they play various venues and festivals including the annual Reg Lindsay Rodeo & Country Showcases alongside artists including Adam Harvey, Allan Caswell, Bill Chambers, Wanita and Wayne Horsburgh etc.

In 2002 Ross released his Independent EP SO LONG MAMA, produced by HERMON KOVAC and featuring renowned musicians, Stue French, Chris Haig and Michel Rose. The track SO LONG MAMA, released as radio single received strong airplay and gained Ross the Nashgrille Search For A Star Award at Tamworth Festival and recognition as a country artist.

In 2003 Ross won a New Zealand/Australian Independent Artist Award for the So Long Mama EP and was invited to perform as support act for legendary Ross Wilson and Mental As Anything at the prestigious Lizottes restaurant on the Central Coast.

In 2011 Ross gained considerable success and recognition with the release of his debut country album, HERE TO FORGET, produced by Rob Wilson and featuring a stella cast of renowned musicians including Jeff McCormack, Mick Albeck, Tomi Graso, Bill Chambers, Brad Bergen and Peter Figures.

The album has received strong airplay support in Australia and overseas, producing the strong radio singles, WHAT WAS MY HEART THINKING, DRINKING TEQUILA, BIG RIG WHEELS, DRIVING MY LIFE AWAY, with strong album reviews being published overseas in France (Le Cri Du Coyote) & Germany (Country Jukebox).

In 2012 Ross gained further recognition by winning a Tasmanian Independent Artist (TIARA) Award for his album single, DRINKING TEQUILA (written by Malcolm Wood).

Ross performed at the 2013 Tamworth Country Music Festival on the Tomkins Guitar showcase alongside guitar legend Redd Voelkart (USA) and Jakes Studio Showcase with legendary Phil Emmanuel.

Now in 2014 Ross has released a 5th radio single off his popular HERE TO FORGET album,the track I CANT HANG AROUND HERE ANYMORE written by Malcolm Wood arrangement by Ross McGregor, released in March the track has been gaining strong airplay.

A further strong review of Ross's album by Rosie Adsett has been published in the Australian Country Update Magazine-March issue.

Mar 2014- Ross McGregor releases his 5th country radio single, I CANT HANG AROUND HERE ANYMORE off the album HERE TO FORGET In November this song gained 3 category wins (best country swing song, best country song & outstanding country music) in the national 2014 Canberra Country Music & Songwriting Awards

Nov 2014 - Canberra Country Music/Songwriting Award competition: Ross gains 3 Award wins for his current radio single, I CANT HANG AROUND HERE ANYMORE.
