THE MOODS DUO BIO:
David and Helski have come together to entertain you with a genuine and quite unique show.
The duo formed in 2014 but both bring many years of experience performing in Sydney and the Central Coast.
A Classical guitarist, David has toured Britain and Europe extensively. David has recorded for SBS and performed at many prestige events.
Vocalist, Helski has a diverse history when it comes to the number of acts she performed with singing original tunes and covers. Currently lead vocalist in Central Coast popular covers band “Big Yellow Moon”.
As a treat the music sets are punctuated by David performing his own compositions, and well known classical guitar and recital pieces.
The duo songs carefully chosen promise to create a myriad of moods for your listening pleasure.
This duo has a great selection of eclectic material some of the artists they cover include:
Grace Jones , Blondie , Fleetwood Mac, Mammas and Pappas, The Beatles, George Ezra, Amy Winehouse , Frank Sinatra ,The Eurythmics, Sade, Van Morrison, Marvin Gaye, Ella Fitzgerald, Otis Redding, Sting and more.
Helski:
An experienced, soulful, vocalist for more than 20 years, Helski has been performing as lead vocalist in a number of original and cover bands , an acoustic duo et al, with regular performances between Sydney and the Central Coast.
Some line-ups include:
Split Ticket , Brian Bury & The Weathermen , Big Back Yard Little By Little , LISS’N SWEETIE duo and band , Big Yellow Moon Band.
Helski was a founding member of popular acoustic Liss’n Sweetie Duo .The duo for 20 years played gigs at clubs pubs and restaurants including Live @ Lizottes Central Coast ; including support acts for Vicka and Linda Bull and Brian Cadd.
Helski’s vocal ability stretches over quite a vocal range. Her voice is silken but powerful; a distinct warm rich tone easily able to evoke heartfelt emotions.
She finds excitement in all kinds of styles of music; rock, pop, jaz , acoustic, soul, funk, country, classical, world music.

David Martucci
Born in Scotland, and originally a self taught guitarist from the age of 20, David Martucci dedicated his time and his passion for classical guitar when he undertook further study with the Master Jose Tomas, in Alicante Spain.
David ...“eats breathes and lives music ” ...which sees him spending 6 to 9 hours a day playing his custom made guitar. He has toured the United Kingdom and Europe extensively.
In Australia he has recorded a soundtrack for a documentary on SBS and performed live on ABC radio.
David Martucci ‘s greatest influences are guitarists; Julian Bream, John Williams, David Russell to name a few.
Audiences can expect to be thrilled by his impeccable style and technique easily slipping from tender to energetic works selected from his broad, eclectic tastes including; Spanish, Latin American, Blues, Jazz and Ragtime genres.
