T.R.E.B's aim is to accommodate all forms of 40s, 50s, and 60s classic dance steps.
The style of music performed by T.R.E.B varies to say the least - from swing, rockabilly, country and jazz, T.R.E.B plays it all.
We love hearing your feedback and we enjoy playing songs that you request, so come say "Hi", introduce yourself and let us know what your favourite song is; we'll do our very best to incorporate it into our next play list!
T.R.E.B performing at the Biggest Indoor Rock n Roll Event:
Our latest highlight has to be the fact we Played in support of the one & only Twist king! The man himself "Chubby Checkers".

Musicians Bio's:
Rockin Eddie Curmi: Vocalist, Sax, Drums
Rockin Eddie was better known in his younger days as a drummer & Australian Champion Rock n’ Roll Dancer with numerous titles to his credit. In his younger days Eddie ventured far & wide within the Rock n Roll scene: he was a regular backup up Dancer for numerous artists & tv Shows & to this day he still enjoys teaching his style of dancing throughout Sydney Clubs, Eddie was also the drummer for the local bands Blue Berry Jade and Take Tape with numerous TV appearances.
Later on in life Eddie began singing Cabaret shows throughout the Sydney Club scene and has built a name for himself as a top class act & crooner. Although Rock n Roll has always been his forte, Eddie loves going back every now & then to his crooner days thus always being able to deliver something for everyone’s taste. Eddie Finally decided to form his own band that can deliver the right quality & mix to be able to please a wide range of dance styles & taste.
Simon Costa - Bassist and Harmony Vocalist
Simon Joined T.R.E.B. In late 2013. He runs a well established Music College & has come through Music institute of New York. His style is based around Jazz but his love of Rock n Roll has grown on him. Simon is a bassist in big demand & T.R.E.B. feel very luck to have him on board.
Ross Rignold – Drummer & Vocals
Ross Rignold has been around the traps for a long time. He has played with just about every big name in the country. His Musical tales run far & wide. Ross brings awesome feel to our repertoire. Ross also has an awesome Voice, especially for his selected songs & punches out unreal backing vocals as well! Every dancer in the joined won’t be able to stop them selfs from tapping along to Mr Boom! Boom!
John Russell - Lead & Slide Guitars
A wonderful guitarist/musician. John started playing in the late 60's, early 70's and achieved some success initially with a band called Flake who had a hit with "This Wheel's on Fire" (during the record ban era). They followed this up with a couple of other singles that did quite well. John went on to play with Black Feather, Jeff St John, Phil Keyes' Band of Light and BB Strut. A master of lead, slide and dobro guitars, John is also a very fine songwriter and master of the double meaning, although the smut is all in the mind of the listener.
Theo Penglis guitar, keyboards, vocals
Bombora guitarist with the original Atlantics, has supported Chuck Berry and Chubby Checker on tour and has performed with Jerry Lee Lewis. In addition to session work for records, commercials, television, and movies, Theo has also been musical director for Johnny Rebb, Laurel Lea, Reg Lindsay, and Dinah Lee. He has also worked with the Blues Busters, 78 RPM, Memphis Outlaws, Rock Cats Deluxe, the Firebyrds, Groovy Baby, Sound Advice, American Spin, Roc-A-Tac, Twenty Flight Rock, and the latest line-up of the Atlantics. |
