 THE GREAT GIG IN THE SKY :
Shine On - most definitely! This show was a brilliant event. The thrill of having such a professionally produced gig on our own doorstep is just what the doctors have been ordering for such a long time!
With a star studded line up of both musicians and vocalists, not to mention the awesomly brilliant light show, this gig was never on the path of doom.
With the lead vocals being shared among some pretty amazingly talented performers the authenticity of the song and the sound was as recognisable as the feel of sand through your fingers.
The finest of Floyd's works being reproduced here this night you could forgive yourself and the full house for the excitement and the standing ovation for the 'almost reality' of the show.
Some of the classics covered were, Shine on You Crazy Diamond and Wish You Were Here - Steve Balbi, Another Brick In The Wall and Nobody Home - Yolanda Thomas,
Mother - Amanda Davis and so many more. The all star band shared the affinity and as a whole the performers beat as one. The finale was an all in and an awesome finish to a wonderful gig in the Laycock Street Theatre.
