 NOVAKAYN BAND:
Novakayn are currently in the studio recording a new E.P – Heal the People, with the first song due for release soon . Novakayn are about to step into the studio with Producer, Paul-i, an international music producer, songwriter and artist. His songs have been recorded and published on Gold Albums in over 136 countries.
Through Hillsong, his songs are now sub- publlshed by SONY Nashville, USA. Paul is currently working on advert, song and CD projects with music industry entities in London, Milan, Los Angeles, New York and Nashville. Some of these projects include well known industry icons such as Natasha Bedingfield, David Moyse (Air Supply), Jean Paul Decoster (2 Unlimited), Gatto Panceri (Vivere), Brian Hodgsen, , Lisa Aschmann, Fabio D’Andrea, Jeremy Bose, Brian Hitt, Stan Webb (Nashville), Winston Sela (Maxi Priest and Lulu) and Rob Davis (Kylie Minogue), Paul Jones (Manfred Man), Geoff Dugmore (Robbie William’s studio drummer), and Miriam Webster (Hillsongs Australia).
This has everyone quite excited, as the band have waited a long time for the 'right fit', and Paul is definitely on the same page. Creative sparks are flying!!
Some new tunes are on the horizon as well as finally recording a few of the live crowd favourites such as Illusion, I AM and a new version of Blue Tonight recorded as a duet...we think you will love it!
Novakayn is a 6 piece Pop/Rock band who are passionate about being real in their music and attitudes, and passionate about World Peace. Caring for the future of our Environment and looking after our ailing planet are also high on this bands agenda, as well as bringing our world back to a place of love.
This band with a massive heart is carving a unique niche for themselves in the world by making a difference both with their great melodic music and their cause... Peace! Novakayn's melodic sound and feel is getting people pumpin' with the looove!
Our Music
The organic Djembe beds by Kiam Robertson , with the haunting didgeridoo by Ian Hakker, to lay a unique setting for the driving guitars of Alex Gresley on Lead and Geoff Anderson on Rhythm, and the melodic voices of Kaz, beautifully harmonised by Kiam and Novakayn’s new additions, Sedona Anderson on backing vocals & Sam Shergold on Drums .
Together, they ROCK!!

We work tirelessly responding to every email and message , and know that without you, there is no us! We keep it real in both our music and our attitudes. World Peace
Novakayn have a cause...Artists Unite 4 World Peace. Lead vocalist Kaz received an email from a fan in Iraq, who told her about his family's oppression in the war. They feel imprisoned and oppressed in their own homes, and he told Kaz, that when his Mother kisses all of her children goodnight, they don’t know whether they will still be alive in the morning. How heartbreaking and terrifying would that be to even have to have those thoughts every night...let alone live with that reality! Think about it.
Kaz began the cause the next day. . let’s all unite and grow stronger together as we move towards a peaceful existence. We want peace! And we want all of humanity to live in peace. No bombs, no guns, no chemical warfare...just peace..and for that to happen...it will take a whole lot of patience and respect for each other’s differences. All roads lead to home, and it doesn’t matter which road you take, we will all meet up again in the same place. If we all get that, then we are half way there!

Share the Love and Change the World ~ 1 suburb at a time! Our Lovefests invoke Community Spirit and Togetherness, encourage Families to feel safe enough in an atmosphere that is unlike other venues ~ Families are Celebrated and encouraged, not for profit, but for love and the well being of our Tribe ~ The Central Coastians. Mother Theresa put it perfectly ~ "If you want to know how best you can help achieve World Peace...then go home and love your families!" We believe this to be true, and at our Lovefests, we have seen lives change.
Lovefests are definately not about the money, but about making a difference first within our own Community..then encouraging other Communities to do the same. The World IS changing. People no longer want superficiality and commercialism, we want heart and soul, we want truth, we want purpose and we want love. Basic human needs.
What better way to bring this to fruition than through the passion of music with a strong message. All bands that play at Lovefest are very strong Community stalwarts such as Novakayn, Jake Cassar & the Deadly Nightshades, Halfway Home and many others.Each band has at least one member that is very active in our community and are amongst the biggest fundraisers and cause awareness facilitators on the coast. Our music contains strong messages and is good for your soul as well as your ears and heart. Every single person walks away feeling recharged and inspired and closer to our Community heart.
++Lovefests have now expanded and include Stalls, Face Painting 4 the kids, Nail Art, Tarot Readers/Astrologers/Palmists and will continue to grow and expand into a mini festival.
